This day centers on reconciliation. We are reminded again and again of how God wants to forgive us. Through individual laying on of hands and the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we receive the assurance of the complete forgiveness of all our sins. The service ends with the dramatic stripping of the altar.

GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE OF SHADOWS “The Passion Calvaryaccording to St. John” April 14th – 7:00 p.m.

On Good Friday we gather beneath the cross of Jesus to ponder the depths of God’s love for us. It is a day to quietly reflect on the love we see revealed in our God; who loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that we will have eternal life. We will listen to the reading of the passion story, sing songs of faith together, and be moved by
inspiring music.
