Covid-19 restrictions don’t stop God’s grace, and it won’t stop “God’s Work, Our Hands” so we all picked a team and did what we could from where we are.

The Social Action Committee has selected four projects for our annual GWOH Sunday. All can be done in the comfort of your home. Finished projects are due by the following Sunday, September 20th. If you are unable to pick up supplies or return projects to the church, we will come to you.
CARE CARDS – Team Leader: Diana Arney, bkvrm91@gmail.com
From Ephesians 2:10, “We are God’s handiwork, created to do good works.” So, let us put our handiwork into making Care Cards to reach out to encourage Asylum-seeking families or our homebound. This is an activity for adults and children. Stamps and supplies will be provided.
BLESSING BAGS – Team Leader: Jack Anderson, orejack@gmail.com
This is the only project that can be done at church, in a limited number, socially distanced and wearing masks or this can be done in your home. State your preference when you sign up with Jack.
COLORING PAGES – Team Leader: Doris Payne, dorispayne3247@gmail.com You will be asked to cut out pages from coloring books and put them in a bag withmarkers or crayons. The bags will be distributed by Jill Adachi to homeless families. Supplies will be provided, or you are welcome to purchase yourown coloring books and markers.
KINDNESS ROCKS – Team Leader: Beth Sullivan, beth@pa.com
You may have seen brightly painted rocks with inspirational messages on your walks on the beach and in your neighborhood. Some people decorate their yards with them or leave them on an unsuspecting neighbor’s lawn to brighten their day. Others keep them indoors to have on display. You are invited to distribute your creations and share the joy with whomever you want. Rocks and supplies to paint will be provided.
