San Marcos Lutheran Children’s Center is a ministry of San Marcos Lutheran Church. We are accredited by the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association and a certified National Wildlife Habitat.

We believe that kindergarten readiness includes both social and academic development. Each day, the children enjoy both indoor and outdoor play and work experiences as they develop problem solving, self-help and independence skills. Our curriculum includes language, literature, math, science, Bible stories, motor skills, art, and music. We model and teach love and respect for ourselves and others and all of God’s creation, and we encourage the children to be kind and to help their friends.

Where the sidewalk ends is where the Cares Closet begins!

Hours of Operation: 8am – 12pm, Monday through Friday, with Lunch Bunch from 12pm – 1pm daily for a small additional fee.
School Year: Mid-August through mid-June; we also offer 6-7 weeks of summer camp in June-August.  

We offer a morning preschool program for children ages 2.9 years (must turn 3 by December 31st of the current school year) through 5 years old, in a loving Christian environment. Classes are arranged by age and are limited to 10-12 children.
